Just finished my workout and my body’s seems to be screaming at me in agony and pain after quite an intense workout. For this week, I’ve been pushing myself to the limits by lifting weights to points of failure and I made sure that the poundage I put on the bars wouldn’t let me do more than 8 reps per set. It’s hard but I guess it’s worth the effort and besides, as the saying goes “No pain, No gain!”. ![]()
I just hope I won’t experience tomorrow the muscle cramps I experienced late this afternoon. Yup, at around 3PM this afternoon I had muscle cramps with my chest and shoulder muscles. I seemed to have been paralyzed and every move I made was painful. I tried to do some stretching but it was even more painful than just relaxing. Then I realized that I might be dehydrated since I had not been drinking that much water throughout the day and been drinking quite a lot of coffee.
So what I did was to hydrate myself once again by drinking water with a little bit of iodized salt every few minutes. I also drank a pain reliever tablet from one of my officemates (thanks to you!
). In less than an hour my muscle cramps were gone and I felt a bit better then. ![]()
