Finally, I was able to find time to play some games with my MBP. :D

I couldn’t find that much torrent downloadable games for the Mac and shedding out around $50 or P3K for game just isn’t in my priorities for now, so I decided to just try out some downloadable demos from the gaming websites.

These are the games I tried:

Quake 4 – Damn! This game is so action-filled and the graphics is awesome. I was able to make use of the highest graphics settings so I was able to play the game in it’s full graphics glory. MBP’s graphics card really did well on this game, as seen on the seamless graphics rendering.

Call Of Duty 2 – I have a PC installer for this game, and sad to say it won’t run on Windows XP/Vista running under Parallels Desktop For Mac or VMWare Fusion. I’m getting some errors on DirectX which I think is due to the fact that I haven’t tried it though on Windows XP under BootCamp, but will do so maybe this weekend. This game also played well on my MBP, and just like Quake 4, I was able to make use of the highest graphics settings. This game didn’t excite me that much, like that of Quake 4 since I had played this games PC version since COD1, but I have yet to try COD3.

I am no gamer, but I just thought of testing MPB’s video performance, and I guess being able to run graphics intensive games shows it performs well. :)
