So now that I’m a proud owner of an iPod Shuffle for use on my gmy workouts, I guess it’s just right to find a suitable earphone for it. The earphone that came with the Shuffle actually is ok and provides decent quality audio, but I don’t think it’s suited for hyper active and sweaty workouts. I actually tried using the earphones that came with my iPod Classic Video and not with the Shuffle but sad to say, it isn’t sweat proof. Whenever I start to sweat a lot one of the earphones starts loosing sound and it won’t be until it dries up that I start to hear anything from it again. Moreover, it’s pretty hard to keep in my ears whenever I move around the gym. It’s pretty annoying to fix it in place once in a while.
Then I saw this Nike HJ030 Vapor Sport Earphones in one music store. So I talked to the sales person in charge, to confirm if its sweat proof and he told me it is. Also looking at the hook that comes with it, I am pretty sure it would solve my problem in keeping it in place throughout my workouts. So I bought the unit and tested it the next day during my workout.
I’m glad to know that it’s truly sweat proof since even after getting so sweaty in the gym, never did it stopped producing sounds. The audio quality is not really that great and bass seems to be lacking significantly unless you press it onto your ears, but generally speaking its pretty decent. The great thing about it is the hook since it does what its supposed to do, to keep the earphones onto your ears. Never did I have to fix it into place for the whole duration of my workout.
So for those using the iPod Shuffle for gym workouts this is a good set of earphones you can partner it with. ![]()

Lots of of bloggers aren’t really pleased with this new iPad.There was just too much hype over it and lots of people got turned off.Quite frankly, I can actually see great deal of the cool potential of this gadget. Third-party apps for making tunes, games, papers and magazines and FFS books, all sorts of good stuff, but IMHO they failed to sell it right (aside from the books). It feels rather undercooked
