If you simply want to listen to your favorite tunes and don’t want to take the time to search for it and download it onto your hard drive, then you can simply use this cool site called SeeqPod – http://www.seeqpod.com. I use this a lot when I don’t feel like using my iPod while working or playing around with my notebook. It somehow makes me listen to a lot of my not so favorite songs or view music videos online in a single site. It does all the hassles of searching and playing the media files I want online.
Basically it’s like a search engine for multimedia files, but mostly audo files such as MP3 or streaming media files. What’s cool about this site is you can actually create a playlist or what they call podlist. You can also save this playlist/podlist if you have an acccount on the site so that you can listen to it again or edit it some other time. It even provides you with that usual multimedia player controls such as play, pause, next, back, etc.
Just a warning though for those who plans to use this while at work or in the office. Just like other streaming sites, this consumes a significant amount of your office’s internet bandwidth since it’s like downloading continously media files. Just be considerate enough not to use it when your office internet connection starts to crawl, or you might get busted by your network administrator or worst get a memo from your boss
